| A New Job Help Resource at the Upper Arlington Public Library
The Upper Arlington Public Library will launch an online job help resource service on Monday July 13, 2009. The JobSpot offers job search and professional development information for persons transitioning, re-entering or seeking first time employment in the job market, all in one location.
The JobSpot webpage link can be accessed 24-hours from the Library’s website at www.ualibrary.org/jobspot. The link features information about the Library’s WiFi access, upcoming professional development programs, resume software, recommended read list, and a comprehensive list of job search links.
This one stop source for job seekers is intended to relieve the frustration and anxiety so often experienced when having to respond quickly to unexpected reduction or loss of employment. Where and how to begin finding that next job is not easy and there are do’s and don’ts to the job search that can make or break getting the job offer. The Upper Arlington Public Library is well equipped with the tools and information to help finding that next job or improving skills to get that promotion, and the JobSpot link is the navigator to it all.
