Taste of UA
The Taste of UA is the UAACC’s signature event, allowing Chamber members to showcase their products and services. The Taste is always held in early August at Northam Park from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. More than 130 member exhibitors share their cuisine, wares and services at this event.
Restaurants sell samples of their signature menu items and enter to win the annual “Taste of UA” food contest. Local celebrities judge appetizers, entrees and desserts, selecting winners for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Music is always a feature at the Taste along with amusement rides, craft-making for children, face painting, clowns, caricaturists, and fun for everyone! After popular demand, a Bier Garden was added as a feature of the Taste in 2009.
The historic average attendance has been more than 12,000 annually. Non-restaurant members may distribute promotional items or sell their products. This event is free to the public.
