UA Chamber and UA Civic Association for a community partnership
Over the years, the Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce has worked hard to develop Community Partnerships with the many organizations that share the common interest of fostering a vibrant community rich with events and programs that enhance the overall quality of life in Upper Arlington and the surrounding areas.
While it may appear that the Chamber is an organization built exclusively for business, the reality is that the Chamber is designed to be a valuable resource to the residents of Upper Arlington as well. "The Chamber is committed to furthering the strong sense of community historically found in Upper Arlington and through the development of Community Partnerships the Chamber and its partners can serve the community and procure new opportunities", said Chamber Board Chair, Doug Ryan. Each year, the Chamber and the Civic Association develop programs and events that directly serve and benefit the residents of Upper Arlington.
The Upper Arlington Civic Association plans and executes community events designed to bring families, friends and neighbors for holiday and civic activities. Since the platting of the first lot on the old Miller farm, the Upper Arlington Civic Association with its predecessors, first established in about 1913, has been an indispensable part of the growth and vitality of the community. Today, the UACA continues to provide programs and events that make our residents proud to live in Upper Arlington.
"The Upper Arlington Civic Association is very pleased to become a Community Partner with the Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce. We both share the desire to contribute to the success of our fine city. Partnering with the Chamber where appropriate will be beneficial to the community...UACA is excited to foster a closer working relationship with the Chamber", said Upper Arlington Civic Association President, Chris Reinke.
